Organ Farming Via Xenotransplantation
Description: The removal of organs from animals such as pigs and sheep that is genetically engineered to not be corrosive to human tissue and then transplanted into a human patient. There have been several successful trials that saved lives. However, the fear of pig'f flu has caused the government to shut down the trials.
Risks & Benefits:
- There is a chance or rejecting the organ in which case the surrounding tissue is targeted for destruction, which is bad.
- The final con of organ harvesting is religious views and beliefs that shun the practice.
- A benefit of organ farming would be getting an organ transplant could be cheaper than continuous care.

Interview Answers:
1. Chemicals used as well as large amounts of animal cells.
2. A family member was waiting for a donor.
3. Seemed like a good topic that could save lives.
4. Several years due to the fear of acquiring pig's flu through the transplant.
5. Probably not for at least another five years.
Reflection: Our topic can be considered moral because it can extend the life of someone or even save it. It can also be considered immoral, however, because animals are killed to save human lives by using only one or two of the animal’s organs.
