Vaccinations or Nah

I turned my text into speech with a text-to-speech website. There are characters talking that will explain what genetically engineered vaccines are how they have made an impact. The link to each speech will be below this text. NOTE: The numbers next to the player determine how many pages each speech is. It will take a few seconds to load the next page.Recordings

The Interview
I had an interview with 5 people and asked them 5 different questions. Here are the questions and their responses:
- Are you familiar with genetically engineered vaccines?
Lauren: Probably
Madison: Probably not
Zane: Yes
Gigi: Yeah
Sophia: No
2) If you were a doctor, would you recommend your patients get vaccinated?
Lauren: Yes
Madison: Yes I would
Zane: It really depends because a lot of vaccines have been proven not to cover the recent strains of it, which would make it a completely ineffective vaccine to get. There’s no reason really, depending on what the vaccine is.
Gigi: He’s right. It practically depends.
Sophia: Yeah
3) Did you know that researchers have successfully engineered bananas, potatoes, lettuce, carrots and tobacco to produce vaccines?
Lauren: Really? That’s a lot of science!
Madison: No. That’s very..
Zane: Yes I did.
Gigi: Yeah I knew that.
Sophia: No, I did not.
4) Most people believe that kids who have not been vaccinated should not come to school. Do you agree or disagree? Why?
Lauren: I disagree because they still need to learn.
Madison: Same. (In other words, what Lauren said is how she feels as well.)
Zane: Yeah that’s another thing, like not all vaccines stop things. It would not prevent the spread either way.
Gigi: I disagree.
Sophia: Well I agree because if they’re not vaccinated for a specific kind of disease, then they may be a carrier for that disease and other people can get it since they’re not vaccinated against it.
5) Like I mentioned earlier, bananas can be used to produce vaccines. When an altered form of a virus is injected into a banana sapling, the virus’ genetic material quickly becomes a permanent part of the plant’s cells. As the plant grows, its cells produce the virus protein, but not the infectious part of the virus. When people eat a bite of a genetically engineered banana, their immune systems build up antibodies to fight the disease just like a traditional vaccine. Knowing this, would you consider trying it?
Lauren: Yes, ‘cause that sounds very very interesting.
Madison: No because it might be too dangerous.
Zane: No.
Gigi: No, not really.
Sophia: Yeah, if the banana still tastes like a banana I would totally try it. Well, that wraps up this post. To see the full script, click here.
