Genetic engineering:

Genes have a big role in diabetes II. Having a certain gene or combination of genes can increase your chance of getting diabetes II. While some genes increase your chances others decrease them. Genetic engineering could stop many people from getting diabetes II by removing the gene or fixing the gene. This could stop many young people from getting diabetes II. While this might be expensive it could save millions of young lives by simply changing a code.

pros
  • decreased chance of getting diabetes
  • less young people dying of diabetes
  • less people suffering

Cons

  • expensive
  • still risk of getting diabetes
  • dangerous
