ADULTHOOD: GROWTH HORMONES
Description
Growth hormones is a chemical stimulation that initiates cell division, bone growth, and a number of physical processes within the human body. The adult growth hormones are used for physical appearances; like complexion, shape, and to help humans grow while looking younger. Scientists have studied that Adult growth hormones plays an important role in the repair and the maintenance of different tissues in the body. There was no exact answer of society accepting or rejecting growth hormones, yet some people believe that growth hormones can help adults or children feel better about themselves. Scientists have examined that growth hormones will damage a person’s lack of structure throughout the years of their life. Adult growth hormones have impacted itself on economy as the economic pressure builds to control its cost and drugs. As growth hormone drugs costs increase yearly, the number of individuals will increase dramatically in coming decades. Overall, adult growth hormones is a very world-wide phenomenon.
Benefits
All drugs or genetic traits can have benefits and risks. Basically, growth hormones (GH) are used for appearances for a persons well-being. The benefits of having GH is the fact that it can help adults look younger and become more physically engaged in active pursuits. GH is proven to improve exercise, cardiac function, and gives an overall increase of bone mass. The benefits of having GH in adulthood sound increasingly wonderful and sound everlasting, but there are also risks involved.
Risks
The risks that involve this hormone are very distraught and usually happen when something is overdone or overused. Having too much GH can alter appearance and can cause organ enlargement. Women that are over 50 can improve the risks of breast cancer, but with anyone it can also improve the risk of any cancer related. Basically, GH for adulthood has some pros and cons when having the hormone.
Questions and Answers

1. Why do you think companies are selling growth hormone drugs when they know about the risks that can harm people and what do you think will happen when it all shuts down?
- Companies are selling growth hormone drugs because they receive money from time to time from adults and they buy them because they are influenced that it can help them through life. They pay more attention to the positive outcomes, but don't give ANY attention to the negatives. When it shuts down I believe that people will still be the same, but they would think a little bit less of themselves. So overall, it is a win-lose situation.

2. What is the significance of adults taking growth hormones?
- Well, the significance is that it can help with a person's function. Also because adult's hormones decrease over the years, so taking it will help them function right.
Maria A. (Alexa's Aunt)
3. What do you think is effective right now, in the year 2015, negative outcomes or positive outcomes?
- Me, Maria Alcoseba, doctor of dentistry, believes there are positive outcomes on taking growth hormones such as adolescent individuals who want to grow taller in height as a natural means to reverse the natural aging process, training aid & supplement to athletes engaged in power and strength dominated sport. GH helps balance the deficiencies of AIDS & cancer patients.

4. In your opinion, do you think that there will be more benefits of growth hormones in adults and in the elderly in the near future, and explain your reasoning?
- Yes, there would be more benefits of growth hormones in adults and in the elderly. Now that we are headed to the direction with more advanced technology and knowledge, there will be more ideal in the nature of medicine or drugs, and such like growth hormones, we will be able to know how to deal with the risks.
JoJo R. (Alexa's dad)
5. Why do you think adult growth hormones have so many risks?
- Any drug has risks and also benefits. GH is a drug that can help with organ functions and the way they exercise. So, taking too much can cause something bad to happen with a person's health (like any drug). Like over exercising, or like what you wrote about altering appearances, and of course organ enlargement.
Final Thoughts
This project was based on growth hormones and its impact on society. Tracy and I have a brief understanding as to why it's used and why people thrive for it. We, as a two-person group, think that scientists should consider re-designing this stage of life. The stages taken place in GH should be remodeled to create a safe, healthy environment. GH is immoral considering, it's a vanity. GH is it's own personal makeup, yet can help with your functions. This hormone can affect any adult that may have any problems that they originally had before he/she took the "drug". GH can affect any persons present stage of life. It can either help with organ functions or can cause organ enlargement. Either way, taking GH when a person is an adult is completely normal, since their hormones can decrease. In conclusion, growth hormones are very life changing and hit a huge impact in the adult world.
