There are good and bad sides in type 1 diabetes, here are a few. The first good thing about type 1 diabetes is that you get to eat healthier. For example, you can eat steamed/fresh veggies, eat fresh fruits, and dairy products. The bad side to this is that you want to try to avoid eating as much fried food you can. You can also find a way to treat it by taking insulin. Frequently, your doctor may recommend more than one type of insulin. Another bad side is that Type 1 diabetes can affect major organs in your body, including heart, blood vessels, nerves, eyes and kidneys. In conclusion, there are good and bad sides in type 1 diabetes.
